Sit & Draw
Underdrawing Arts & Crafts Supplies provides a free open space for artist to come and draw. Artist of all ages are encouraged to come in and draw, sketch, watercolor, marker, ink, color pencil, and discuss art with the artist staff. Sit & Draw events consist of several art creating functions such as"Fanime Friday", "Walk-in" Sit & Draw, and soon to come "Pro Sit & Draw Artist Talks". These events are free to the public during their respective times and in doing so Underdrawing wishes to keeps the Sit & Draw a free service and it doesn't mean for it to substitute for course or classes.
Please note if an artist staff member consults a Sit & Draw longer than 20 minutes it will turn into privates art session.
Inspired by “The Sketchbook Project” at the Brooklyn Art Library in Brooklyn, New York. “The Sketchbook Project” is the world's largest library of artist sketchbooks that is crowd-sourced from every corner of the globe.
The SKETCHBOOK LIBRARY is a similar project that intends to change the way creative people share their work. The SKETCHBOOK LIBRARY will create a community of inspiration for enthusiasts to the professional artists alike. By joining the movement, you are adding your voice and becoming a part of something bigger than yourself. So, draw, write, collage, cut, print, photograph, paint, sketch, ink, innovate. In short, let your creative ideas fill up the sketchbook and send it back to join the collection so it can inspire your local community.
How does the SKETCHBOOK LIBRARY work?
When you purchase a sketchbook, you are becoming a part of a community art inspiration. As the above description depicts you have full creative freedom over how you create with your sketchbook. Once a sketchbook is filled and returned to the library (Underdrawing Arts & Crafts Supplies store location) the sketchbook will the cataloged like a library book. Then other art enthusiasts can come view in store or online if you chose to have it digitized. Artist keeps all exclusive rights to their original work with the bonus of having their work on permanent display.

Digitization of sketchbooks is done every nine (9) weeks.
The cream paper is easy on the eyes and reduce viewing strain.
